Hammered with bad registrations

Is it just me> I get 30 to 40 new "members" a day. I have things set that I need to validate every user. I have some banned IP's, some partials, etc.

Is there a mod that can screen these out before I need to deal with them? 99% are asking for a time zone in Japan...not many Mustang owners there!

I am not using that. I was unaware of how to get started. I am very new to this.

Well first what version of vBulletin are you using, older version don't have recaptcha by default so you may need to install a modification.

If you've got the latest version you can find all the settings for reCaptcha and other human verification options in the AdminCP -> vBulletin Options.

Look in your AdminCP,
Under vBulletin Options,
Select "Human Verification Manager"

Click ReCaptcha, then save.

Then go back into Human Verification Manager, click on the recaptcha link and define the public and private keys
