...email addresses are banned and can't register on my site? Their email addresses range from hotmail to .gmail accts. I then have to go in and manually register them.

Any help is appreciated.

In the vbulletin ban options, did you define those email hosts in the ban email box?

No, wouldn't that mean all hotmail accts be banned? I have others that get in with no problem.

I did check this and no "hotmail" accts are banned.

do the registration process yourself, and use their email address to see if you can register using their email.

If you can, tell them to try again, if you can't you've got some issues.

It could be spammers looking for an easy way in your site or something else.
