Can you edit to make a clickable link to the style in question? Right now your site is det to the defualt skin an I know you don't want that reviewed. The infusion theme (http://forumthemes.com/forums/?styleid=6) you have is just a standard install of the theme an you didn't even edit the logo graphic. The morbid style (http://aha-area.com/forum/index.php?styleid=68) is also just the defualt style besides you did have a custom header here. So to review your skin is to just got to there thread an kudos the designer in thier thread.
For content I only seen 5 posts, so to review something it's just on the forums category an descriptions. Those do look pretty pro an good job getting them together.

Oh, I tried the Morbid theme and set it as my default (Got it from Styles) and it seems a little too light for me. I think im just going to use the default theme by vBulletin as it looks pretty nice. Well right now I added a programming category for C++ and beta testing. I'm really just looking for a review of the set-up and maybe even some advice to clean it up.

Anyway thanks for your review.

It's pretty clean IMO - The only downsides I see, is that the default style isn't as pretty as other styles...but then again I"m bored of the default styles VB offers - so don't take that to heart lol.

I like the idea of what's goin on - but having to scroll down so far for all those boards kinda seems a bit far for me (maybe im just lazy, or attatched to having Tabs)

All in all, I think it looks good, the front page has some good stuff on there I'd like myself lol.

8/10

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still going to customize the default theme and then make it my own with cooler effects etc. I'm trying to make a tabbed system like this site has but it isn't easy and I'm still not even 1/4's done lol. Till then, stop being lazy :P

When I read "Web Development Professionals" I completely expect to see one hell of a modern style. 100% customized, with cool and innovative ideas, clean markup, etc. etc. etc. Afterall, you guys are professionals, right?

Instead, I see a plain vBulletin site with yet another vBadvanced portal page. Something that anyone with $160 for a vB license can do in thirty minutes time. It's misleading. If you guys are professionals at this, then show it off. Give everyone something to be envy of.

PS: Tabbed navigation is extremely easy -- Unordered list, and a few lines of css. Done and done.

Thanks for the feedback. Our site is about 5 days old today and didn't get much of a chance to customize it. My other administrator Max has been absent the past 2 days so It's hard for me to do by myself.

If someone can help me choose a nice premade, light and easy theme till I finish my own, that would be great. I was thinking of using a theme called infusion or Morbid Blueberry but the infusion navbar looks weird on my browser. So any ideas are appreciated.

As for the homepage.. coming soon.

Yep, needs some serious work, at least do something besides throw a new logo on the site be asking for a review.

took ages to respond, then a while transferring before finally seeing a default joomla header and footer with 'home' and 'WebDevPros' in between.

I'm underwhelmed.

Ty my good sir!

TC: Any reason why it now requires /forums to show? Will it change back or do we have to use /forums to access it from now on?

Even clicking on 'Forums' goes to an Abc... forum - I have to click on Please Go Check It Out: WebDevPros (which thankfully was light enough to catch my eye)

It will be even nicer when I finally finish the homepage up. I tried Joomla out but it failed so now until I finish its a REDIRECT.

Try vbadvanced (http://www.vbadvanced.com) for your home page that way it is with vbulletin. For a style I would suggest looking at other sites, that run vb, and look around see if you get any ideas and then build your own. Vbulletin is very easy to mold into what you want.

I already tried vBadvanced and didn't get good feedback about it considering it is a freeware; anyway; I'm designing my own right now so it will be up soon. I just added a theme I found here called Morbid BlueBerry and its looking nice. I also found a theme called PSP g4mer which I plan to change around to fit the 'WebDev' theme. Any comments about morbid?

Well forget about Morbid, me and my other admin made a new skin based off of a skin by UB. We pretty much modded it heavily and after we redo most of the coding, we can call it our own. Just using his as a base and idea. Comments?
