Customizing Category Strips with Shades

Hi. I'm a novice at this. I'm customizing the colors on my forum. When I got to the Category Strips there is something I'm not aware of doing? Right now these Category Strips are different shades of blue, I'd like them to be different shades of green (#006600).

This is the path to where I found the Category Strip:
Styles & Templates / Style Manager / All Style Options / Category Strips

Then under Standard CSS Attributes / Background..this is what is listed:
#869BBF url(images/gradients/gradient_tcat.gif) repeat-x top left

Can you advise what I need to type in this section in order to get shades of green versus the normal shaded blue?

The category strips are images - https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2008/11/70.jpg . So, you would need to create this image in green in order to use it on your site.

(I think there are free image sites that you can find these on. Just google for them.)
