vBulletin 3.7.4
vBulletin 3.7.4 contains a number of bug fixes, details of which can be found in the bug tracker (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/projectsearch.php?do=dosearch&projectid%5B0%5D=6&issuestatusid%5B0%5D=4&addressedmix%5Baddressedversion%5D%5B0%5D=95&sort=lastpost&sortorder=desc).
The security fixes included in vBulletin the 3.7.3 PL release are also included in vBulletin 3.7.4.
reCAPTCHA™ Changes
From vBulletin 3.7.4 onwards a default key for reCAPTCHA™ is provided within the code, if no key is set and reCAPTCHA is the chosen method then this key will be used.
Upgrading from Previous Versions
3.7.4 is a maintenance release. We recommend that all customers running prior versions of vBulletin 3.7 upgrade to benefit from bug fixes and stability improvements.
Full instructions for upgrading vBulletin are available here. (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/upgrade)
PHP and MySQL Requirements
Please note that vBulletin 3.7.x requires at least PHP 4.3.3 and MySQL 4.0.16 or later.
However, we recommend that vBulletin 3.7.x is run on PHP 5.2.6 with APC (or a similar opcode cache) and MySQL 5.0.51 for best performance and stability.
End of Life for PHP 4
PHP 4 has now reached its end of life. We strongly recommend that customers update their servers to PHP 5.2.6 if they are still running PHP 4. vBulletin 3.7.x supports PHP 5 without any problems, though you may need to disable strict mode for MySQL, see here (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/editconfig) on how to enable 'force_sql_mode'.
Note: We will continue to support PHP 4 in the vBulletin 3 series.
Download vBulletin 3.7.4
As usual, vBulletin 3.7.4 is available for all customers with valid, active licenses to download from the vBulletin Members' Area.

+1, would like to have an update on this
Edit:
There will be several more beta releases before 3.8.0 goes stable, I'll do my best to get a beta 2 out tomorrow.

Report it in the bug tracker.
Official copies are released to distributers the same day they are sent out - meaning they must translate them.

3.7.4?? What happened to 3.8? It has been in beta stage for quite long and now an intermediate is released? I wonder if there are problems with 3.8.

The release of a 3.6 or 3.7 version is not related to other major versions (ie. 3.8).
PS This thread is to discuss 3.7.4, please do not use it to discuss other versions.

Since upgrading to 3.7.4 I can no longer save changes to my CSS - eg, whenever I make a change to a style and click Save CSS I'm presented with the following message:
Required variables have gone missing and execution can not continue. Please try again.
This error can sometimes occur as a result of Suhosin / Hardened PHP being installed on your server. If you know that you have Suhosin running and you have access to the PHP configuration, try increasing the value of the following variables:
* php_value suhosin.post.max_vars
* php_value suhosin.request.max_vars
Can anyone say whether this is a bug in the 3.7.4 release, or is it more likely to be a server-side issue . . . has this happened to anyone else?

That is too easy :
1.download the attached file
2.extract it ( you will see the php.ini file)
3.upload the php.ini file inside the " admincp" folder !
4.end !

Thank you both for your advice. I contacted my web host after my previous post. It turns out to be one of those irritating co-incidences. The server was indeed upgraded with a hardened php, together with Suhosin. It was done at pretty much the same time as I upgraded my board.
They've made the suggested amendments server-side and everything seems back to normal.
Please feel free to delete or move - problem solved.

I hasten to point out that the problems I had were not related to the vB update, and I probably should have waited for my webhost to respond before posting here.
My probs were due to my webhost hardening php and adding Suhosin to the server. This was done on the same day I upgraded my site.
Adjustments were carried our server-side, and I've had no further problems with 3.7.4

Seems you cannot log out with IE, but FF would appear to be okay...
Cant find anything on it tho...

That happened to me. It is a server side issue with that version as when I moved the account to a different server, it worked fine for me.
