User title character limit

Is there a way I can enlarge the maximum character limit for custom user titles?

Edit: Oops! That's not quite what I meant. Is there a way to increase the maximum character limit for admin set custom user titles? You'd think there there wouldn't be a limit, but titles I set with over roughly 300 characters keep getting cut off!
