Hello everyone, I'm running Vbulletin version 3.7.3 and i have a little issue which i don't know how to solve. Everytime I edit an existing User group such as Administrator, the moment i click on Update, A new usergroup is created which is the exact copy of the edited one. I tried to update the skin, rebuilt the cache and all that..... none of it worked.

Step one, I click on edit and than i click on Update :

Next thing i know a copy is created, and the original is unedited.

Please help?

Thank you :)

I've seen this posted about twice before over on vb.com. Unfortunately, neither user posted the fix (When Editing Usergroup, vB Makes A New Usergroup of the Same Name Instead (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=282084&highlight=usergroup)). Try disabling your modifications and see if it works then -
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

If it's still happening, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.
