Don't wanna show who posted the announcement

Hi !

I've made a announcement which is displayed all over the forum.
For this i don't want to show who posted this announcement.
Can this be done ? Do i have to edit a template for this ?
If so, where and how do i do this ???

You need to modify the template "threadbit_announcement" which is the template used to spit out the announcement on the showthread.php page and then also the "postbit" or "postbit_legacy" template to put a condition in around the username so it doesn't show up there either. You can take a stab at modifying them yourself and then if you get stuck, post back what you did and what the result is and we'll help you with it.
