is there a way for a member or even a MOD to be able to hack into VB?
can a MOD install a Virus into VB?

nope... but someone with access to your server-side may be able to play with your files, and this is not related to vBulletin...

what is your situation?

getting error 403, 2 days in a row, we had an issue with one of our MODS and he quit, not pretty, I have been hit by a lot of spammers as well, but we changed the way you can register & that stopped the Spam, the 403 error "forbiden" is new to us, our server was great, up until now.

403 is a forbidden error..check your server config or revert any new mods you added or disable it through config.

well u didn't throw up too much information, do you manage the server?
a hacked site shows the 'Fingerprint' of the hackers... a mad Mod? then you weren't hacked you got f***ed... :D:D:D

No seriously, give us server info...

a 403 error may mean that one of your file have a wrong chmod after uploading it -- if it is a hack, maybe the file is wrongly set...

giving the error 403 of the exact url you have is proper here... and the complete error on page would too...

I dont have much of the server info as one other guy handles that, i have no new MODS or hacks installed, no changes whatsoever.

I have not made any changes to the server in over 3 months, eveything has been fine up until the last 2 days.
