Emailing users

My forum says it has 112 Members: Active Members: 112 But when i email the users the emails are send to over 1000 members which is bringing issues with my host they only allow 3000 emails per hr . were are the other members coming from ?

How are you sending this email?

With the default vB tools you should never be able ot sent more then the number of members.

Active members is only a number based on the last date activity (a setting in vbulletin options) ... if your forum have more users, it's up to you to filter to who the email will be sent, when you write your email in the adminCP!

Users>send email to users and i tick on registered users only .........The forum show i got only 112 Members but when i send emails over 1000 emails are sent :confused:

would be good if someone take a look at your site, maybe something is wrongly coded... do you have any hack installed, and if yes, post a list of them, at least... if not, you can contact Jelsoft directly: http://members.vbulletin.com/membersupport_contactform.php to have direct support regarding this problem...
