Questions before I buy!

From what I can understand vBulletin and vBadvanced is exactly what I need to create the site that I am looking for.

But, naturally, I would like to make sure of this before I continue.

I would really appreciate it if I could get some input from this forum.

Here's what I'm looking to do:


Create more of a portal site with forum and user blogging capabilities.
The ability to have flash photo and photo/caption capabilities.
Homepage and forum skin the same.
Flexible module layout.


These are the main issues that I would like answers to before I make my purchase.:D

1. Yes, blogging however may require the vBlog addon from vBulletin.com
2. Captions yes, flash photographs, not to sure about
