I have searched through the forums and not been able to find anything that works for me. I am using graphic images for First Alternating Color and Second Alternating Color within a custom style. I would like to set the opacity for these images and let the background image show through the semi-transparency of the top image. Note that I do not wish for the text or any content graphics to be impacted. Any ideas?

Here's a link on the css used for opacity - http://www.w3schools.com/Css/css_image_transparency.asp Have you tried adding any of that css to your class?

Yes I found that very page when searching for CSS info, but was unable to apply it for the proper effect. The closest that I could get was when I applied the IE version to Extra CSS Attributes, when I believe it made the text semi-transparent but the graphic remained solid. The background for my First Alternating Color (alt1) is:
url(images/nethescurial/green1.jpg) repeat fixed;
This is the image which I wish to be opaque and let the page background show through. Any further suggestions?
