problem with vbulletin 3.6.8 patch 2

Hi boys, I have some authentication problems with the forum (vBulletin 3.6.8 patch 2).
While with firefox the logging is simply done, with the internet explorer it gives me ok, but in the redirect phase I get back to the starting phase when i'm asked to insert username and password.
And... What's wrong? I need to change some parameters. Thank you for your reply.

Take a look at your navbar template. Open to edit, hit View History, and Compare it to the default Jelsoft template. You should see differences highlighted and can then copy/paste stuff into your template to see if it fixes the issue.
