Glitch with new posts vs read posts

If I logon, and there are say 10 new posts, itll show that in the top menu, ill read one or two, then maybe logoff, then when I log back on, I dont see the new posts anymore, its actually caused me not to see new stuff, and I dont want people thinking no one is answering, anyone else run into that/?

What read marking type have you set in your vB options?

had another user this morn get hurt, because no one welcomed him, I never knew the post was in the welcome section, ill check that thanx
