I will like to know if passwords from SMF database are compatible with vb?
also if vb have one particular MOD I use on SMF this MOD is base on access forum after post good for 10 reply to other user posts.
1 post from user = 10 reply to other post.
2 post from user = 20 reply to other post.
and so on.....
thanks..

AFAIK passwords are not converted when migrating from SMF. Users will need to reset their password. More info: SMF (http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/impex_smf)

ok this mod is to control user who high volume reply to post's without posting anything, see my site is more like sharing forum and we use HIDE command so we know who reply to post, the way we control the reply's for each user, we setup the table like the one I describe on my first post.
each New thread is good for 10 reply's or thanks to other user thread's.
if the user reply 10 times they have to post new thread in order to reply again.
thanks...

I think there are a couple of mods that you can use for free. Do a search in the search bar select all mods in the drop down list that will narrow it down. To get you going thoguh (I assume you will use 3.7.x so this mod has everything you need it was written by Psionic Vision (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=80739) and is located Here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=179034)

EDIT:- This thread will show you what to do but it involves some editing of files so back them up or try it on a test server first.

the link of the hack is only the HIDE hack.
and the second link the tread is for user with license I'm new and not license member yet. :(
It can be done with vB plugins system, but I don't know if anything like you described is available yet.

If i understand you right, this is nothing but a usergroup promotion.
Registered user (in register usergroup), posts 10 replies to a thread, the promotion system, then adds a secondary group or moves them a new usergroup, this secondary group has access to the once hidden forum.
So yes, no hack required, built into the vb system

nop promotion I don't think will do the trick promotion will only move the user to new group but what happen when the user get to the second 10 reply's..
see what I need is to give access to 10 reply's after the user create 1 new thread, after they reply 10 times to other posts we need to block access to the user, then we star all over they need to open another thread so they can have credit for 10 more reply's.
Thanks...

Unfortunately, i dont believe anything like that exists currently for free, you can always have it coded, maybe someone else knows of something close to that, maybe they will post and help you more.
