but what the heck. I'm not interested in a private conversation...I really want to know what the reason was for the reply and then closing this thread:

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=194072

Good grief Marco, this person wasn't asking to sell at vb.org and was just looking for some friendly advise that could have easily been answered (try Sitepoint or Digitalpoint dude) without an unhelpful comment and then closing the thread.

*/ John looks forward to getting his first worthless infraction here at vb.org now :D */

i don't see why you would be infracted... but yes, i know why the thread was closed quickly...

people are never just suggesting places, they are also arguying about why vb.org do not have a place to do it actually...

Jelsoft have specific rules for reselling licenses, but the sites themselves are not the same, Jelsoft can't manage the sales of sites content...

anyway, this is my 2ยข

I just saw the thread and was wondering the same. Could have at least linked the guy to sitepoint.

That may be true but he also isn't here to "lord" over this place either. Others certainly would have been happy to advise this person...isn't that what the Lounge is for?

Just a warning john that the statment you have made is classed as trolling I would suggest like i tell everyone that you follow what I say below.

Steve over at vb.com has said that any complaints towards the staff should be filed over at vb.com in the way of submitting a ticket to them. It's worth noteing as I've seen more and more complaints about the consistent closure of threads when it's not warranted. :)

Give the guy a break, he probably only skimmed the thread. It's not like any of you have never skimmed a thread before - right ;)?

Selling licences is not permited on vB.org. It is not our obligation to direct or advertise for other sites that do sell licences.

We do not allow public discussions of staff actions. Closed
