New to Vbulletin, need help with static link in right column

Greetings,

I am new to using VBulletin or running any forum for that matter and I am confused as to do something that seems simple at first glance. I wish to create a static right column banner that always has a link to a specific website. This would be used as an advertisement and a link back to our main site that our forum is designed for. I have looked at a couple of mods and tried to install them and either they can't do what I'm looking for or possibly I am incorrectly using them. Any insight into what mod I should use or if I even need a mod and am missing something glaringly obvious would be greatly appreciated.

I know there are several mods out there for putting a column on a single page or multiple pages. Make sure the one you are installing is for your version of vB (I would guess 3.7). You may want to consider simply putting the link in your navbar instead.
