in vBshout 2.0 how do i make characters like < > work?

Anyone know, Characters like " < > $£ don't work?
..Can someone help me.

I had to remove the chatbox and they worked, but i've re installed and they don't.
i'm getting &lt; instead of <

thats a issue that vbshout is causing, ask the author of that hack.
