When viewing a forum I want users including my self to see the new threads in the forums to be bold/highlighted and once they click a bold thread and come out of that thread it will no longer be bold until someone posts in it.

but, if u using costumize template this feature gone

What do you have set at vboptions > General Settings > Thread/Forum Read Marking Type ? You may be wanting to change that setting.
