Okay, I've slightly figured out how to get my board the way I want it, but how do I get the line across where the navbar controls are to be transparent? Also, how do I get it to span across the entire page? I like how the controls are slightly off center, so I'd like to keep that, but I'd like to also have the option to make that line a tad transparent. There are a couple sites that have it this way and like I said, I think it looks gorgeous.
Any help?
Oh! and the log in stuff is gone when I did this, not sure how to add that back...

maybe posting examples of what you want as well as link to your site.
It sounds like you are editing your navbar template?

LOL, yes that would help. I forgot to post the attachment. I wasn't going to link to the board, but why not. I just need a revamp and this is the only way I know to do it, LOL.

And yes, I want the navbar changed. And, I want to be able to still have my drop down menus off this particular navbar, which hasn't been possible so far, since I'm working off codes I've found that aren't really correct on my site.

I don't see anything special about that board. I was thinking your wanted to make the background transparent or opaque in which case I would point to this article - Mandarin Design: CSS Opacity and Transparency (http://www.mandarindesign.com/opacity.html)
And that second images looks like just a basic navbar under a banner. You just need to move the table for the navbar up to the top in the navbar template.
