Is it possible to downgrade vbulletin (from vb3.7.3pl1) to a lower 3.6.0 - in order to enforce compatibility with an old plugin which no longer works.

My intention is to downgrade for a day or two which would (hopefully) be compatible with an old plugin I used.

Currently, this plugin is incompatible and all the data (articles by members) is now inaccessible - effectively lost work.

What I'd like to do is enable comptaibility long enough for me to copy & paste all their work, re-upgrade to 3.7.3 and then these articles could be placed in the member's blog entries instead.

The only way to "downgrade" is to restore a backup from before the upgrade.

You should always setup a test site to perform major upgrades and make sure plugins continue to work.

Which plugin is it, and maybe we can help you fix it faster

It seems to me the articles should still be in the db so they should be recoverable. If not, downgrading won't recover them anyway.

If there's a whole lot of them, I think it would be easier to just install a fresh old vb long enough to recover them.
