We searched but could not find one. Does anyone know if there is a "Rate Post" hack for vB? The way it would work is similar to what you see here (http://digg.com/microsoft/Dell_Intel_give_users_what_they_want_to_turn_Windo ws_off) and here (http://blogs.computerworld.com/the_windows_cloud_microsoft_gets_it_half_right). After someone posts on the forum the reader can 'Rate' his post. If enough people give it a negative rating (pre-set by the admin) then that post is grayed out and collapsed with the message "This post does not meet board requirements". If you still wish to read the post you may click on a link to open it and read it. I think this is a great idea for message boards in general, as it cuts down on the nonsense posts and keeps the threads good informative posts flowing.

Anyone know of a vB hack like this?

Try searching "rat*" "all mods" "titles only" This may be what you want (or close enough so you can modify it to be what you want) - SAPR: Advanced Post Rating system (ajax) (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=170419&highlight=rat%2A)

THANK YOU so much Lynne :) I did search for 'rate' before posting the thread but nothing valid came up. However this is close enough to what I need.

Thanks again, I really appreciate it ;)
