Unable to send post from forum to newsgroups?

Hi all,i'm new to this, i have installed this mod https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=92588 and it works fine in that i get the posts from microsoft.public.excel etc in to the forum but any post that i post in the thread for those isn't posted to the newsgroup, i think previously i saw a message "rejected ill formed message", does anyone know how to cure this?

If you have questions regarding a modification, you need to post in the modification thread (the one you linked to).

I have but the author hasn't posted there in a very very long time so i was seeking help elsewhere within this forum. Sorry!
