Forums and Sub-boards issue ( i have ALOT of boards)

This is how it currently Views:


Xbox 360

Sub-Forums: Halo 3 , Halo 2 , The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion , Fable , Fable 2 , Forza 2 , Grand Theft Auto IV , Gears of War , Gears of War 2 , Guitar Hero (series) , Madden NFL 09 , Too Human , Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 , Rock Band , Rock Band 2 , The Orange Box , NHL 09 , Mercenaries 2: World in Flames , Dead Rising , Left 4 Dead , NBA 09 , Tales of Vesperia , Infinite Undiscovery , Battlefield: Bad Company , Unreal Tournament 3 , C , Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare , Call of Duty: World at War , Castle Crashers , Chromehounds , Fallout 3 , S , SW: The Force Unleashed , Soul Caliber IV , Skate , Skate 2 , Star Wars Battlefront II

As you can see, I started to do it Alphabetically, starting with C and S (seeing as most games there atm start with it)

And instead of having only the C / S show up, and once clicked, opens the forums, it just added it to the sub-forums. The C / S games are now being Parented by C / S instead of Xbox 360

Any help or can someone tell me how I can make it so the letters show as the sub-forum, and then once clicking on the letter, opens up the boards in each one?

vboptions > Forum Listing Display Options > depth of Sub-Forums

I have changed it to 5 - still no change, am I missing a setting? sorry for the stupid question..

You want to make the number smaller, like 1. (I think). You need to play with the values there.

Depth of Sub-Forums Use this option to display deep subforums as text links in the parent's forum description area.

For example, if your forums are setup like this:

parent
--child
----child's child

And your forum depth is set to 2 and this setting is set to 3 then you will see the first two forums displayed "fully" on the forum homepage while the level 3 "child's child" forum will appear within the "child" forum's description:

parent
--child
child forum's description.
Sub-Forums: child's child

TYSM - it's been bugging me for a LONG time - we have nearly 400 Game Boards, and they where all on the same page like I posted first, this makes it so much easier, ty ty

A bit far-fetched, but is there a way to make only some show up as that, or does it have to effect them all?

I wasn't thinking and it also did that to the other tabs I have >_>

This will effect them all. I don't know of a way to only make it effect some. There might be a mod, I don't know. You could search for "forum*" or "sub*" in "all mods" "titles only" and see what turns up.
