Changing user fields via a drop down on the forumhome?

Is it possible to change a userfield option from say "no" which is default, to "yes" anywhere other than in the user control panel? Can I put a drop down somewhere like in my header that accomplishes this? Thanks.

You could, but you will need to code it yourself (or ask someone to do for you).
