Advanced Thread Bit

Mod Explanation: This mod modifies the view of the new subject. It can change tags can be shown or limited, thread starting date, a summery of the subject.

The mod is not working Why?: You may be using vBulletin 3.7.x or before. You may already made some modifications on threadbit template. Or another mod is making the problem.

I like this mod.

One thing I noticed is that it should be able to force a linebreak on long strings in the inserted text from the post, in the event for example that a long url is in the post, so the page doesnt get stretched.

SELECT * FROM vb_session WHERE session.lastactivity > 1222172495;

MySQL Error : Unknown table 'session' in where clause
Error Number : 1109


Everything else seems to be working good.

Edit, found the problem, in the forumdisplay_start hook the query to the session table does not have the table prefix. This is the code I edited to make work

Hoping this could be addressed as I cant use it as it is, but would love to.

Unfortunatly my members post links, and the links dont parse like in the post and as such, the topic list pages stretch yje pages out in the area where text is inserted but contains the link or image link text.

The thread starter's name is using HTML markup

But if I click on the username of who made the last post it works ok

I cant figure out why this is?

It's not with every MOD that I'm getting that exciting. The thread synopsis that is now showing in thread display adds user friendliness, improves user experience, enriches the thread display layout, and I'm sure that it doesn't hurt SEO wise :)

With its hassle-free installation, and superb admin and forum options, I installed the MOD on all three forums, nominated, and rated it as an excellent product.

Oops... as you can see here (http://www.topsynergy.net/news-announcements/), the thread description shows the text (URL) between the custom tags . Pretty ugly and cloudy.

Will you be able to come up next with a method to define exclusion of tags or maybe another bright idea altogether?

Now, I think that would solve my problem completely myself too.

If the tags were stripped out, and all contained text, then all that would be left is plain text.

And it would look great that way imho.

I have it installed, but currently disabled only because it stretches the page where bbcode embedded url's are sometimes way too long, but lack of all bbcode contained text would neaten up the whole look imo.

Or maybe show the url text, but not the url, also even especially when it is an image bbcode.
