How do i create a custom bb code to show a forum rule? i have forum rules added to my FAQ's, FAQ's>Forum Rules>Rule 1, varname forumrule1 etc. each rule is labelled Rule 1, Rule 2 etc i would like my mods to be able to quote forum rules easily so is there a way to perhaps show a quoted rule by something like and the rule show?

Kind regards,
Simon
I'm not sure that's possible with a BB Code. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.
Steve, thanks for replying yet again, i thought it may have been as simple as being able to quote something like $forumrule1 but i am a complete novice at php and html, is there perhaps a way of showing the moderators links to the FAQ>Forum Rules>Rule 1 etc so they can perhaps click a radio button to quote or show them, something like that! of course if it is still a mod at .org i'll try there.......could it be a feature in 3.8.x ?

I should have also said that i already have some custom BBCode, what ideally i would have wanted would be when a mod (only they can access the custom bb) chooses the [warning] bb then they should be presented with the list of rules (found FAQ's>Forum Rules>Rule 1 etc.) and be able to click one to insert.

Simon
