Site created to answer ALL possible interests in religious topics...
instead of having one single religion/theology, we have multiple ones... we call this multi-culturalism...

Please review the whole thing, just the style would be futile, as it is bland and brown.. lol
if you have ideas about theological topics, just voice yourself too!!!

Well I clicked happy to see another great site as you always do great work with boards... [even I was remembering that once I wished to study Theology...]
I won't complaint about the design, but just suggest you to 'group' the religions in one place, I don't understand how are they sorted :(

I?ve registered here a while ago, after seeing the link at your board ;)
First of all I think it has a very friendly and growing community!
I do have to note when looking at the content of the site, and although I think I find it very nice to see this added, it must maintain a board about religion in general. Not just about paganism, where the web mistress mainly seems to hang out. (Otherwise I suggest to change the domain name quite soonish.)
Looking at the modifications done, they're awesome as usual :D

see, i knew you'd like it.. lol
i've done what i could with what the site owners had suggested me... their style was built upon their requests, one of them is designer of something, i do not remember what is his CV... but he had a good idea with the logo, less with the colors etc, but this was not my idea...
Thanks Taragon for the mods commented... i created a complete different navigation than usual, i do not like it because it is far from perfect, but i have a new version to be released that will please so much people who require a real navigation in a sidebar, ... ;)
anyway... for the groups that are seperate, they are to be merged with the main part when they find some moderator or something to bring content to them... they brought the 8 major religions at a same place, like i suggested, and they try to make it work... the site is close to non-active but that's not the point here...

I actually really like it, more than the sports site as far as visual appeal. Anyways, here's a few things to consider changing. The logo at the top looks good, but the dropshadow touches the top of "TB.com" so I would add another 5-10px of padding. Also around the logo the brown has a sharp edge which looks good, I would continue this around the rest of it. I would then move "forum : blogs : groups : portal" up into the brown top area. Then delete "TB.com" so the news box is level with the log in box. Where the "forum : blogs : groups : portal" is at now could be used for some type of sub-navigation or maybe a few of the most popular forums? I would just keep the fontsize a lot smaller. Even if you move "forum : blogs : groups : portal" into the top brown area I would still make it a little smaller.
Moving on to the forum...the gray color for threads/posts like (5/42) needs a little more contrast, it's a little hard to see. Get rid of http://theologyboards.com/images/buttons/lastpost.gif or atleast do hue/sat so it matches. Add about 4-5px of padding on the top of the forum images like http://theologyboards.com/images/misc/forum_buddha.png so that it lines up with the line height of the first line of the description text.
The icon http://theologyboards.com/images/statusicon/forum_old.gif was hard for me to figure out, I actually thought it was some type of flower at first and then realized it's the same TB logo...maybe more contrast, or maybe I'm just tired? The forum_new icon looks good though.
Lastly I'm not a big fan of the red/orange envelopes for the thread icons, both the colors and the actual icon. The icons are a lower level of quality than the rest of the imagery and the colors should maybe be another green/brown?
oh, and don't forget the fav icon.
