Hey!

Would you please be able to tell me what you think of my new site and any ways to improve the site. I am not bothered about how many members or posts I have because its not the stats that matter. It is the community that matters.

The gray color for the forum titles like "Personal Forums" is a little hard to read on the green background, The orange on green (Sub-Forums : Annoucments & Information) is also a little hard to read. Announcements is also spelled wrong. The logo is on the right, unless most users speak Hebrew or a language that reads from right to left the logo should probably be on the left side. Maybe you could put the login box in the free space of the header area or make the colored lines take up more of the white space. Last thing, if you added a border and shadow similar to this site it would help give depth to your forum.

@Matt, if you think it's an illegal board, please consider using the Report system instead of flaming someone on the forum...

btw, his site is completely legal until Jelsoft decide it is not...

btw, i like the colors, but would prefer to see the sides with a little garnment, not green-plain...

and yes, the gray on green is heavy on the eye... but appart of that, the color scheme is great, the icons too... we will see if the topics are good when there is more life.

Thanks for replying :)

We are looking into some kind of border to go around the forum.

I like the site however I have some suggestions that might help with converting visitors to members.

When you get there, the top is pretty blank. Maybe put the logo on the left and a banner ad or something on the right. It kinda looks unfinished in that regard.

After that, I have to scroll WAY down to get to any real content, ie the forums.

There are notices, then a chat box, then the welcome message. If you have to scroll that far down every time, it becomes a lot of work to navigate and browse the forum.

Decreasing vertical space is always something I find personally important, however many people might disagree with that.

We have decided to remove the notices due to the fact we had no real use for them...

Thanks for bringing this up :)

Pretty nice, one thing that really bugs me is the background for table headers that you have.. ( http://www.oyobiia.com/images/767546bee91b72772.png ). The middle line going through it makes it hard to read the white text ontop.

Another thing is you should make it so images in peoples signatures don't get resized through highslide resizer it looks like you're using? Also you have it set to resize external images.. but when you click the bar to view full it doesn't open it inside the forum like it should.. it opens it in a new window completely which is kind of annoying.

Not too fond of the colors myself but that's just me.

Why do you have a vbulletin.org account when your board is a nulled version off vbulletin?
Matt,

If you suspect a site running an illegal copy of vBulletin, please report them (http://www.vbulletin.com/piracy.php). Unless you receive a response from vBulletin - and you won't, you should not accuse people of running an illegal copy.

Looks like a great site, lots of potential.

But some of your links are bad. Including the one on the top of the forum, linking to the job part of the website, and also the one linking back to the forum.

You can't just have "www.sitename.com" you must have "http://www.sitename.com". Currently it just refreshs the page for some reason.

I've always enjoyed this style :)

I do suggest to adjust your padding around the whos_online.gif
Also I'd suggest to change your noavatar.gif to something a little more matching with your current style, or even the niche/theme of your board perhaps.

Actullay, it is the stats that matter because without good stats there is no community.

Good stats I would say for a small forum...
