Allow users to comment on a post?

I disabled "can reply to others threads" but I want a way for people to 'comment' on the post's and threads made by other members and have them publicly viewable. Does anyone know a mod or a feature i can use for this?

How does that differ from allowing people to "Reply to others threads"?

I want thread creators to be able to reply, and have it not mixed in with other posts. Sort of like a blog.

The system you mentioned is very similar to the post system, which is probably why no one has created such a modification.

How do you mean the thread starter to reply and not mix with other posts? The post system is probably the nearest you'll get, mixed with maybe the threaded or hybrid view, although a blog system might be an alternative.
