Current Activy/Who's Online Question

I have an Ajax chat on my forums, that, when on phpbb used to say the person was online in the chat. On vB, it acts as if the person isn't on at all and won't say that they're in the chat, even though it's still inside the forums root directory. My question is, what would I have to add in order for all people on the chat page to be counted in who's online.

I'm not asking for a "XX people chatting" thing, I just want it to say "Current Activity: In Chat" or something for that user.

If you have questions/problems with a modification or style, then please post in the thread (or support forum/board) about that modification/style. Best chance to receive a reply from either the author or another member using the same modification/style.

I didn't mean specifically about the add-on. I just wanted to know if there's a certain piece of code I should enter to say "Display this as the current activity whenever they're on this page or directory in the forums"

This would require a change in the modification, please ask the author.
