Please help changing URL path

Hi All


I recently started my website in root path i mean like :

www.mydomainname.com

now after 300 members and 3000 posts i want to change the url to /forum like this:

www.mydomainname.com/forum

please help me how to do this , which files should i edit change and how to change path

also let me know what precaution to take back and all

please help me and if possible give me step by step way i am new to vb

Create the directory on your server and just move the files to the new location. You may need to change URLs in your AdminCP > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Site URL Details

You should always do a backup before you make a major change.

i will try this after we finally decide to move it and then post here if i get any issue
