View Full Version : Reduce vertical space used by navbar stuff?

Any suggestions on this. The stuff is over 100 pixels tall. I need the navbar itself, obviously. Do you think it is practical to move or eliminate some of the other stuff. And how, please.

I couldn't agree with you more.

You could always intergrate the login form, private messages, notification messages into the header area (I'm sure there is plenty of tutorials on how to accomplish this) and i've seen it done many times. That alone is going to shave off a large proportion of the height. :)

Ps. Vb.org have done this and you can view how it looks and by also logging out.

Although...maybe to the right of my 728x90 ad in the top center!! Except that gets too wide on smaller res monitors. I guess part of my need is to figure out which of that stuff can just be eliminated.
