Custom E-mail Notifications

I was thinking about to include an image, background color or even adsences on my e-mail notifications.

Does someone here had the same idea and know how to do that ?

Thanks for the tip, great titorial about html BTW, I'm sure this will help others here a lot.

But my major doubts about this thing is. After creating my personal HTML e-mail, if I want to customize Vb e-mail notifications, if I just place the HTML code at the corresponsing Vb phrase for it, is it going to work ?

Just tested right know and it doesn't work this way. I just don't kno where exactly I have to change to include this modifications I made.

Anyone has an idea of it ?

I was searching on this and the e-mail body is created in class_mail.php file.

I tryed to include some tags to include in message field some images but with no sucess.

Does any one here already something close than that ?

I'm sure someone here like me already tought in improve the looking of the regular Vb e-mail notifications to include an image, logo, adsense or something like that.

All suggestions will be welcome for sure.
