I would like to turn off email notification upon PM's and emails for ALL my users. (turn off ALL email notification on the board)

is there a hack that does this? if not, can someone write it?

this is because some of my users used fake email addresses before we turned on the "enforce real email" feature or whatever it is, and now when they reply to a thread or pm, the webserver tries to send a mail, and gets a mailerdameon msg in return cuz thre is no email addy like that, and the host is gettin mad

Maybe I'm missing something, but why don't you just change that Members email address to a valid one? Or you could just delete their account!

I don't get why you need to change everyone's email options because of one user.

We've had users complaining that the board is spamming their emails, and I have to explain every new user how to turn off the default email notification as well...

To turn off email notification, put this query into phpMyAdmin:

UPDATE user SET emailnotification=0

I'm not sure of the exact query for PM email notification, but it shouldb't be too hard to figure out by looking at your database tables.
