your logo is great, but could be more professional by choosing an alternative font for the typologo... the general mood of the site is gray, you may have to add a spike of color to enhance the view... because the only color we see is the rss feed icon, so that's not good.
structure seems correct, forum content is on topic, that's ok for me..lol

I agree about the color, I bought some new high-end monitors a few months ago and this is the first time I've designed a site on them....when I went to view my site on another computer I realized the colors I added are almost invisible lol. I'm going to add some more green probably or just increase the saturation. As far as the logo, which part are you talking about? All of it or just one of the words?
Thanks for the feedback

I can certainly related that colours will seem to be viewed in lighter/darker variations on other monitors though with millions of users having different settings it's not really worth trying to compensate for the simple fact that colours will seem to differ on each individuals monitor.
Anyway, atleast the colours seem to look prominent enough displayed on my monitor. The whole style in general looks nice. Structure and layour is clean though I will say the amount of forums you have is a little extreme (unless you have the content to insert) and quickly as members will find a bare forum with to many areas daunting and put off from posting.
Personally, I would concerntrate on a few areas (photoshop and another software) keeping the other areas hidden untill your forum has more members that are active.
Visually, I like the style (the forum status icons/boardmarkers) look like forum icons I designed a long time ago which i submitted here though your ones look like they have been scaled down and lack that sharpness/quality.
Nothing more to say than to convey across that I really like the colours used throughout the style but i would suggest inserting 1 other colour to break out the theme a little (maybe a soft orange) would look visually acceptable and the orange could be intergrated in (let's say) some of the icons or maybe your header and buttons set.
Overall nice job. On a personal preference, I really like the style and the colours used throughout.

Thanks for the feedback, I agree orange would be good, I had some rss buttons in there a while ago and it looked better. Yes the icons are yours, I made them smaller to save space, but I now have enough space to make them bigger so I'm going to try increasing the size.

Nice looking site,
I did pick up one spelling mistake it was the first thing that I read at the top of your page
In the welcome message.
It says
If this is your first visit, you with have to
Should it be
"If this is your first visit, you will have to"
I thought you would want to correct this
Good job with the design and I like the low key colors a lot but one more would be good

I think you need to add more content to the forums other than that its looking good. Has a nice custom theme thats not to overpowering and flows pretty good.

I agree, easier said than done though heh. What are peoples views on using RSS feeds to add content? I'm not the biggest fan of it, but have others have good results from using feeds?

i find it a bit chaotic ... logo is nice ,but , again the overall feel is overtaking , as in , it overwhelms the user . as far as the banner, you should consider taking it out until your site really picks up .. not good for a starter site , thats my opinion...
its a bit weird, maybe a more uniform layout will help.
Keep it up , you can do much better however.
