Servage and admincp redircting

I'm on Servage hosting, each time I login to my admincp using this path: http://www.x.com/admincp it redirects me to http://x.com/admincp, so it stripes out the 'www' from the bath which leads to problems with cookies.

Can any one help solve that?

check your .htaccess file or if there is .htaccess file in the admincp folder

There's not any in the admincp. What could be causing this in the external htaccess?

check the .htaccess in the forum root, or web root then

after that, i dont have a clue.

Is it redirecting on your regular forums also? If so, look for an htaccess file in there or even a directory above that.

I removed the htacess from the forum root but still redirects the admincp, that didn't happen to me with the old host.

sounds like a servage configuration issue then if you've removed the .htaccess files from your admincp folder, forums folder and web root and its still doing it.

You may need to contact them to see why that is happening, or place a .htaccess that redirects from non-www to the www.domain.com/admincp folder. (might not work, might trigger a infinite loop of redirections)

Servage are my forum host and I don't have the problem you are having.
