User Age Stats?

I'm looking for a way for me (i dont care about users seeing this info) to find out average user age or any stats on ages i.e. % of 20-30 year olds etc.

However I went into phpmyadmin and entered that query and got the error "You have to choose at least one column to display" - maybe I'm doing it wrong? or its too old to work.

I don't mind if its a sql query or a add on. Any thoughts would be great. I'm running 3.7.2.

Not sure, but this mod. gives you stats basically on everything, including the age. And it does work on 3.72.
