I have a subscription only web site that is a vb install. Google has the calendar pages (which we don't use and I guess I left them open to public view so google indexed them) and they rank number 3 and 4 for my keyword.
How do I redirect that traffic? I would not want to show them the calendar....

delete the file calendar.php simply... google will stop visiting it as it will be absent.

A 301 redirect, but it will prevent anyone accessing the calendar.php page.

Edit your Unregistered Usergroup so they don't have permission to view the Calendar.

I think I like the 301 redirect the best, that would keep the traffic right? Probably I should have specified better, I like the traffic from those listings, I just want the traffic to my home page which is not vb...
I will go study how to do it in the next few days :) thanks a lot

Your page is likely ranking due to many factors on the page itself. A 301 tells search bots that they page has permanently moved and will result in the page is being redirected to being used for ranking. In other words, you may loose rankings.
I would simply stick a prominent link on the page so users can follow it.
