Is there a way to turn off the time requirements for the events in the Ranged section. It mandates a start and stop time for every event and in most cases we don't know a time. I've just been guessin and putting times in to make them post.

I doubt that someone will have a solutions suddenly after 2 years.

Maybe the user found how to resolve it but never got a chance or forgot to post that they did. That does happen.
