Parse .diff or .patch file attachments like Project Tools?

I've recently discovered that vBulletin Project Tools is able to parse .diff and .patch files attached to projects. I was curious if anyone knew of a way to bring this functionality to a normal (non-Project Tools) forum? Does a product exist that lets you do this or is there a way to bridge Project Tools so I can get the functionality in my normal forum?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I've seen your work for the nzb parser Dismounted, any way I could hire you to develop this into a vBulletin plugin? The final product would then be offered for free to the vBulletin community. Email/PM me if you could give me a quote.
