Email verification.

Hello,

can anyone tell me why after my users verify the link email sent to them they are not able to post. I was checking and the users still place at group: Users awaiting email confirmation. The tell me they have received the email and verified it however still can't post or reply comments.

you must have new user Moderate enable from your Admin CP
you have to go to Admin CP select Moderator select moderate user and enable them and also you can do that by going to Admin CP user Group --> user awaiting Email ---> select show all primary users---> and select user and on the second column select from the top drop down list select registered User and the second drop down list select registered user if necessary.
save it and you should see your user will become Registered user and your user awaiting email count go down.

Do I always have to confirm my members or this happen automatic? I thought that once the person had confirmed the email address through that link it will become a member just as we did for this forum. Do you have any idea where I can set it up?

By default you should not have to moderate new members. You must have set some option somewhere.

This isn't a modification (presumably?); you should be asking over on vb.com.

Thanks a lot guys for your replies, but not sure what's up with the setting but I will go back step by step.
