Incredible mistake

Because I never saw who made the same mistake I dare to try :P~

Seriously, I was doing stuff as fast as I can as always, and was uninstalling vBTube from my board to reinstall a customized version, then by mistake I erased ADMINCP Folder :mad:
the worst part my FTP suite doesn't have an UNDO function or the last backup is from Aug 9th and I have made upgrades and installations that I really don't remember what did I change...

So anyone knows a trick to bring it back?

Files only contain code which processes data from the database. Just restore the default vBulletin files, then go to your product manager. Find out which modifications you have installed and reupload an files for the admincp, that those modifications require.

Ok I made some upgrades to vB and GARS & GAB, plus downloading the last backup to see what I got there...

So there's no trick to recover something erased from the server?

Restoring a backup?...

Just download the appropriate version of files from vBulletin.com upload only the AdminCP folder and its content. Do the same for the modifications you have installed...

I don't know what else you are asking for...

There's no big deal of erasing it unless you actually edited the Admin CP files. Just get a fresh copy from the member area, extract the Admin CP folder and upload to where the last one was.

Just upload the backup admincp folder, and add any hacks that had admin functions

Oh, and topic creator? If you say what mods you have, I can possibly say whether they have files to upload to the Admin CP folder.

well I downloaded the August 9th backup tgz.tar and extracted the ADMINCP and make memory and check dates and GAB+GARS+PL4+vBTube are the ones I modified... [I guess] some mods from Boofo to notify via email if someone try to access your AdminCP check some usergroups and I think I'm alright... :confused: right?!?!?

p.s. I blame my ftp since it highlights always admincp on startup :mad:
