For a forum, or the whole forum? There is a per forum require password option in the edit forum options screen in the Admin CP, but for a whole forum pass, maybe put the forums inside one forum and make that password protected?
for one forum. I know how to set password protect forum... :)
In the manual you have:
Administrators, super moderators, and moderators of the forum in question will not be prompted for a password.
I want to disable this.

Why do you want to use a forum password, this is not much used anymore as there are often better ways to get the same result.
I want to use a forum pass, because sb from competitive forum stolen admin account with unrestricted acces to important forums... I set up pass for ACP and he couldn't use it. So I had an idea to set passwords for important forums...
But you said "there are often better ways to get the same result". What do you mean?

If someone gained access to an admin account, your response should not be to add more passwords to forums, but to ensure that this account is not used/abused anymore.
OK, I know, I banned this account & I'm watching logs every day, but I want to add extra protection as passes to forums for everyone. Is it possible?

You can add a .htaccess login, but adding forum passwords will hardly increase security. Most likely it will only annoy regular members.
I can add a htaccess login for one of my sub-forums? How to do this?

You can not have a .htaccess login for only sub-forums, you can only set this for the entire board.
