How do You Add a Button Set?

I downloaded a button set of graphics from the vbulletin styles section. How do I incorporate the buttons into my forum? I uploaded the images to my button folder. Is that correct?

Am sorry I can't find instructions anywhere and this is my first time doing this with buttons :o

Edit the style that you want to use the buttons for, make sure the paths are correct for the new buttons.
