.... need one or two questions to be answered first.

Before i go ahead with it all and buy a licence...

1. In 3.7.x series, they have a comment system is this a possable add-on for 3.6.x ( i dislike 3.7 )

2. Is it possable for Admins/Mods to have an option in "userCP" to make them "Private" on the "Who's Online" so it will come up as.

1. Which comment system are you referring to?

2. If te usergroup permissions allow for this, a user can set himself to invisible.

1. The default one with 3.7 ( in profiles )

2. Nah i don't want them to be invisible, just to say "Private" when users check the "Who's Online" list.

Cheers for the reply.

1. Profile comments are specific to vB 3.7. There might be a modification available to do something similar on oldr version, but i have not seen it.

2. So you want them to be visible, but what should be private then?

1. ah ok, hopefully there is one available.

2. Instead of showing the location ie "forum, general" or "Music" etc..

Just to show "Private"

2. This can be controlled by permissions.

Permission to view the location of a member on the Who's Online is set per usergroup.

You could turn off any of the new features in 3.7 and it will be exactly the same as 3.6
