Enable forum description for seo

Hi guys

I have just set up a new forum http://www.forummatters.com/forums/index.php , my question is should I use the enable forum description for seo, which puts the forum description on every post, is this an advantage with the search engines or will it get me penalized for duplicate content being on every post.

Also any feedback on my descriptions from a seo point of view would be appreciated, as I am kind of new to this.

It won't be the same info on all pages, it will just be the same as per the forum sections

That’s right, the forum description will be the same on all posts in that forum, will this cause an issue of duplicate content with the search engines? Or am I just being duplicate content paranoid?
