Anyone know of a plugin that's either free or pay that's called "VB Articles"?

No, but if you check out vBAdvanced Dynamics i use it as an article system and it is extremely good for that use imo

any chance of a link? A search for vBAdvanced Dynamics did not yield anything

Did you search Google, or did you search the forum, because your not going to find any paid modifications on this site. vBAdvanced Dynamics on Google pulls it first thing on the list.

I wrote an announcement cms which you can see in my signature. It displays announcements on forumdisplay and forumhome. So you can write your articles as announcements and also can give special time frames for them, as announcement system has this build-in.
