Quick questions about spammers..

Can you guys give me your thoughts on the quickest way and how you deal with spammers..

Scenario:

A spammer calls themselves "pornobix" ..

How do i delete this user or his account from my admin CP.. ??
Is there a MOD to make his name a strike through pornobix ??

Do you use any other ways ??

You go to your Admin CP, input the name under Quick User Lookup and then select the Banned Usergroup as the Primary Usergroup.

There are modifications that will make this easier. Do a search on "spam" in the the mods forums.

As for the strikethrough, just go to the Banner Usergroup to Edit and input the html for putting a line through a name in the HTML Markup area.
