Modifying default font for threads

Hi,
I was looking in the forum for this question but didnt find any relevant to it so sorry it this was repeated thread.

I was trying to modify the default fond of writing new threads replies editing and tried some tips but didnt manage to do it.

I appreciate if someone can tell me how or where to search to find how.
